Integration at the Forefront of Faster Hotel Check-ins
June 27th, 2019, San Francisco – GTRIIP, Inc., a Gold level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) and a market leading hospitality innovator, today announced it has achieved Oracle Validated Integration of GTRIIP Front Desk Application 2.5 with Oracle Hospitality OPERA 5.5.
To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customers. This validation allows hospitality groups to use GTRIIP machine learning algorithms and biometrics technology to authenticate a user and complete a guest check-in within three minutes, sending guest information automatically into the Oracle Hospitality OPERA property management system. In addition to completing guest check-ins faster, GTRIIP’s integration with Oracle Hospitality OPERA is also expected to improve productivity and security in hotels through a digital experience.
“We can empower guests to use their own smartphones, automatically recognizing information from a photo ID such as a passport and authenticate the owner. This highly automated and secure check-in process eliminates the need for manual paperwork such as paper registration cards at front desk and reduces the check-in time considerably, especially when information flows into Oracle Hospitality OPERA.” said Maxim Thaw Tint, CEO of GTRIIP.
“An ideal digital transformation journey for a hotel should have swift implementations with the highest impact to hotel’s success. Hotel management should not have to worry about improving processes and guest experiences through technology innovations due to complexities of technically implementing them and integrating them to existing systems over months or years. Integrating our technology with that of Oracle’s has simplified this process and opened up our solutions to deploy at more hotels within weeks, receive feedback from hotel guests, and quickly tailor each guest experience to match a hotel brand identity. This allows us to create meaningful innovations in hospitality industry together with our customers,” added Maxim.
”Achieving Oracle Validated Integration gives our customers confidence that the integration between GTRIIP Front Desk Application 2.5 and Oracle Hospitality OPERA 5.5 is functionally sound and performs as tested,” said David Hicks, vice president, Worldwide ISV Cloud Business Development, Oracle. “For solutions deployed on-premises, in the cloud, or both, Oracle Validated Integration applies a rigorous technical review and test process that helps to reduce deployment risk and improves the user experience of the partner’s integrated offering.”
The GTRIIP Front Desk Application 2.5 is a human identity verification solution that leverages on machine learning and artificial intelligence for travelers with a smartphone to check-in with a selfie. Using this system, hotels can increase check-in efficiency by more than 300%, reducing the average check-in duration of 10 minutes to less than 3 minutes – without compromising on security.
This system also evolves physical check-in registration cards into a more easily accessible digital registration card on a guest’s mobile device. Hence, this is an ideal platform for a group-level initiative, allowing for full integration across multiple venues and services via a near-seamless integrated digital environment. The integrated system is able to accommodate and facilitate other guest identity linked features, such as mobile room keys, in-room control, in-app messaging, services requests, and bookings for affiliated venues and offerings.

GTRIIP is an innovator in document-less human travel. GTRIIP’s patented check-in solution is enabled by AI and biometric technology to allow travelers to skip the hassle of long registration procedures. Hotel guests start by snapping a picture of their photo IDs to auto populate their digital registration cards with the help of Optical Character Recognition technology. They can subsequently perform hotel check-in with a selfie using GTRIIP’s facial recognition feature. Each authenticated guest will be uniquely identified and verified for a hassle-free check-in experience.
